MELODY MEISEL, FOUNDER

re:Sources was founded in 1992 by Melody Meisel. Having served as Art Department Manager for Lucasfilm’s Industrial Light & Magic (ILM), Meisel is widely conversant with film and special effects production, interactive entertainment, commercial production, and talent recruitment.

Through re:Sources, Meisel provides project management, producing and consulting services which include sourcing talent for creative and technical production teams and managing production personnel, bidding, scheduling, budgeting and contract negotiation.

In addition to her years at ILM, Meisel's experience in the entertainment and multi-media industries includes working with Lucasfilm Learning, consulting with the Multimedia Lab at Apple Computer, producing over 100 live international theatrical events, editing internationally distributed children's books, producing award-winning radio programming for Monitor Radio, and specializing in the development of educational media titles for children. Educated at the University of California at Los Angeles, Meisel holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in World Arts & Cultures, an interdisciplinary program in music, dance, theater, arts, anthropology, folklore and mythology with a specialization in ethnomusicology.
